Dear Arun, Third Eye Travel organized a trip to Myanmar for my husband and me in December 2010. We loved the country and found the people to be very friendly and accommodating. It is a beautiful country with much to see. We would like to go back again. Our hotels were lovely, and the service excellent. The food is very good, and there is a much variety. Most menus include Indian, Thai, and Chinese food as well as local specialties. We enjoyed the itinerary very much. We saw the major cities including Yangon, Mandalay, and Bagan, and were especially impressed with our stay on Inle Lake. Traveling by car from Inle Lake to Mandalay gave us an opportunity to see the countryside, also. Our trip on the Ayerarawady River to Bagan was very interesting. Our guides were well informed and were anxious for us to see their country and to understand the dedication of the residents to Buddhism. The temples and pagodas are beautiful and very well kept. Our drivers were also very competent. When there was a misunderstanding regarding our itinerary, our guide worked it out with the local tour company to our satisfaction.
