We took a 3-week tour of Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan, April 17-May 7,'95, arranged by Usha Lama of Third Eye Travel. Usha is a knowledgeable and very competent provider of services in these remote nations. She arranged excellent accommodations at the Hotel Mountain in Kathmandu, the land journey from Lhasa back to Kathmandu and a wonderful 6-day tour of Bhutan. She arranged all this at a very reasonable price. From the West Coast, we paid a total of $4,335 per person. This included a flight from Kathmandu over the Himalayas to Lhasa, Tibet; form Kathmandu to Paro, Bhutan, and from Paro to Bangkok, as well as a $1,300 consolidator coach ticket on Singapore Air from Los Angeles to Kathmandu and return from Bangkok.
