I came across Third Eye Travel from a small add I saw in the International Travel News and they offered a tour to Lhasa Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan. I had trouble with their website and was not too impressed by that, but took a flyer and called them anyway. Spoke with Arun who is from Nepal but now based in Fremont CA. I was a solo traveler and could not work the dates with their planned tour offering so did a custom tour that included those three countries and added Bangladesh. Long story short, not knowing what to expect the trip worked out perfectly. Regarding the experience:

 

• The tour was totally customized for to my requests and expectations
• All guides and drivers were excellent from the time I was met at the airport and stayed with me as long as they could to see me off to the next country
• I asked for and received (and paid for) upgraded hotels throughout,
• had some special requests for each location (collection of currency of each country) which were fully complied with,
• Arun new what side of each aircraft and the exact seating of each aircraft from Bangladesh to Bhutan. Bhutan to Nepal and Nepal to Lhasa to get the best viewing of the Himalayas

 

As to value, the offered tour I believe is good value, but as a custom tour you have to pay more as there are no sharing of common expenses.

 

Overall a good experience, professionally handled, and I would travel with them again.
