The devastating earthquake last year in Nepal was no doubt one of the greatest tragedies the people have ever seen. A lot still needs to be done specially in the villages where not many peple have reached and helped the local people.
The villages need all the help they can get, and you can make the difference. Third Eye Travel has a special affiliation with Nepal as it is one of our primary travel destinations, so it is our responsibility to do our part to rebuild the economy by promoting tourism in Nepal and help to restore the lives of people back to normalcy.
We have chosen to adopt the Soraghar Primary School in Dhading, which is one of the hardest hit districts in Nepal. The school had 6 class rooms with 110 students. All the classrooms were destroyed. The children of the village now have a very basic temporary place for study. They are now collecting a fund to re-build their school.
We are putting together a volunteering package again this coming April 2016 to Dhanding School in Nepal where you can help to the rebuild the school and experience the village life first hand. The money you pay for the trip, $ 300 will go to the school directly and rest will cover your basic hotel and transportation.
After volunteering you can extend your trip, trekking in Nepal of continue to India, Bhutan, Myanmar or other destinations.
- Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu, meet and transfer to hotel.
- Day 02 Drive to Dhanding, where you will be met by a school administrator and briefed about your volunteer work.

- Day 07 Return to Kathmandu.
- Day 08 Extend your trip to other parts of Nepal, trekking or continue to Bhutan, India or Myanmar.
